Who is allowed to sign up for this program?

High school students who live in Needham and or attend Needham High School. College students as well.

What time of the year does this program run?

This program runs from mid-November through mid-March

Where will the games and practices be held?

Practices and games are held at the St. Joseph School gyms and Pollard Middle School.

How often will you be asked to ref?

Depending on the week and availability you could work 2-3 nights during the week. Usually you would ref 2-3 games a night.

Is there a training session?

Yes, there will be 2 training sessions offered and you will be required to attend one of them.

Are jerseys and whistles provided or are they purchased separately?

Jerseys and whistles will be handed out at the ref training. You will be required to wear your jersey every time you are reffing a game.

How much do you get paid per game?

First year referees get paid $16 per game and experienced referees get paid $18 per game.
